I first became fascinated in immunology while pursuing my undergraduate degree at the University of Rochester. My experiences as an undergraduate led me to stay in Rochester to work as a lab technician. My work focused on designing novel cytokine-based cancer immunotherapies. I joined the Huang lab in the Spring of 2021. My thesis project focuses on engineering armored CAR T and NK cells for clinical use and better understanding how this therapy combats immunosuppression in the solid tumor microenvironment. Outside of lab, I enjoy running, hiking, and baking.
