Roland Lamb

Roland Lamb directs the residential MPH and MS degree programs. He came to Dartmouth from the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), the regional office for the World Health Organization in the Americas. Roland worked for PAHO from 2017-2019 in Washington D.C. and in several South American countries. His work for PAHO/WHO focused on a health partnership project with the Government of Canada to improve maternal and child health, nutrition, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) in 11 countries in the region. Before PAHO/WHO, Roland worked in education, research, and public health projects focused on cervical cancer, hematology, and HIV in Colombia, Israel, Germany and the Caribbean. Roland earned his MPH in International Health and Development from Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. He also holds a BA in History from Emory University.
