Lu Zhong, PhD

Research Associate

I earned my Ph.D. in Data Science from City University of Hong Kong. Prior to joining Dartmouth, I was a Researcher in the Department of Public Health Sciences at Clemson University and a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. My research focuses on building resilient health systems that can withstand disruptions, including pandemics, infectious disease surges, and climate-related events. I develop AI-enabled network and computational models to improve the resilience of health systems across multiple scales, from population-level epidemic dynamics to healthcare delivery networks, hospital operations, and individual continuity of care.
