Senior Research Project Director

Lisa Johnson serves as the Administrative Director of the Levy Health Care Delivery Incubator and as the Director of Operations for the Northern New England Systems Transformation for Primary Care (NNEST-PC). Both initiatives are closely aligned in their goals to redesign primary care systems and services to meet the health needs of people living in the Northern New England region. Lisa works across a diverse network of partners and collaborators, including patients, families, clinicians and care teams, community organizations, researchers, educators, and policy advocates to further the mission of both initiatives.

Previously, Lisa directed a multi-year randomized controlled trial funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute focused on increasing COVID-19 vaccine confidence in long-term care workers. She also directed a multi-year grant focused on building a coproduction learning health system in the U.S. for a chronic disease population, working with the national patient advocacy organization, several prominent patient registry organizations, and patient and parent advisory groups.

Lisa has over 25 years of experience in the health care industry, primarily focused in the areas of clinical and population health improvement and health services research. She earned her undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of Virginia.
