Johnny Huynh, PhD

Johnny Huynh is an Assistant Professor at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice. He is an economist whose research focuses on inequality in U.S. healthcare and labor markets. His work combines econometric modeling with large-scale national administrative datasets to understand the causes of health disparities among veterans, disabled individuals, and racial and ethnic minorities. Huynh earned his undergraduate degree from Pomona College and his MA and PhD in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He received specialized training from the Health Policy Research Scholars program with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
