Chun-Che Wen, PhD

Chun-Che Wen is a Research Associate at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice. Prior to joining TDI, he earned a PhD in Biostatistics from the Medical University of South Carolina under the supervision of Dr. Brian Neelon. His research centers on Bayesian hierarchical modeling, particularly for longitudinal, clustered, and spatiotemporal data, with applications in public health and medical data. His dissertation examined temporal changes in the effectiveness of varenicline in a randomized smoking cessation trial and investigated racial disparities in cardiometabolic risk factors among pregnant women across geographic regions in South Carolina during COVID-19 pandemic. In his free time, he enjoys playing volleyball, running, and climbing.
