Amelia Blume, PhD

Research Project Director for Dartmouth Health @ Home
Her career has been shaped by working closely with government agencies, healthcare organizations, and community leaders to strengthen programs that support people in rural and underserved communities. She has built her work around understanding local priorities, partnering with teams to navigate complex systems, and helping organizations use evidence to guide decisions.
Across public-sector, healthcare, and nonprofit settings, Amelia has led evaluation initiatives, improved health data systems, and coordinated multi-agency efforts that bring partners together around shared goals and informed decision-making. Her approach reflects a commitment to practical study design, equity, and collaboration with the communities at the center of this work.
Amelia earned her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Arizona. She is excited to call New England home once again. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the local area — from trying new food spots to spending time on nearby lakes and trails.
