Dr. Abraham Matar, MD, is an abdominal transplant surgeon in the Dartmouth Health Department of Surgery, where he leads the Matar Laboratory. His current research focuses on using large national transplant databases to evaluate clinical outcomes in transplant recipients, with a particular emphasis on understanding and addressing the inequities experienced by rural transplant patients.
