I am the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Dartmouth as well as an associate professor of surgery and pediatrics. I serve as associate neurosurgery residency program director, neurosurgery clerkship director, neurosurgery sub-internship director, neurosurgery subspecialty advisor, and lead an On Doctoring group. I also serve as a Learning Collaboratives Clinical Mentor.
Some of my personal interests are cooking (I have a degree in French Haute Cuisine), wine and craft beer, baseball (playing and watching), travelling, board games and time with my incredible wife Heather, daughter Hope (2 years) and son Milo (9 months).
Top Travel Destinations:
The moon (I’ve always wanted to be an astronaut since I was a kid but have had to settle for pediatric neurosurgery instead).
If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
Either knowing the location of the fastest moving grocery line though in actuality my super power is the ability to lose one sock of a pair with alarmingly high frequency.
If you could go to the Olympics for any sport, what would it be?
Ornithology. Guaranteed. Gold. Medal.
