About Dr. Stapleford:
Dr. Stapleford is a board-certified radiation oncologist who joins Dartmouth Cancer Center Manchester from Northwest Georgia Radiation Oncology. Prior to this, Dr. Stapleford taught general radiation oncology as an Assistant Professor at Emory University. While on faculty at Emory, she helped develop a multi-disciplinary lung cancer clinic and conducted research in the technical aspects of radiation delivery, treatment response assessment, and image-guided treatments. Dr. Stapleford has written and co-authored many publications, abstracts and book chapters related to radiation oncology research and treatment. She has actively participated in numerous international clinical research trials, was a member of the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG) Lung Cancer Committee at the national level and served as a committee member of the Georgia Radiological Society (GRS) at the state level. In her free time, Dr. Stapleford enjoys running, traveling, and soccer. She has a passion for international healthcare and has spent time working in Zambia.
