Our faculty support the development of promising students and build interest in the field of radiation oncology through a variety of formal programs, research opportunities, teaching, and individual mentorship.
Dartmouth Adventures in STEM
Dr. Charles Thomas instructs new Dartmouth undergraduates enrolled in this five-day pre-orientation summer course designed to introduce incoming undergraduates to the frontiers of science.
Nathan Smith Society Undergraduate Shadows
The Nathan Smith Society serves as a central organizing locus for “pre-health” majors and is a component of the Health Professions Program (HPP). Undergraduates considering careers in medicine can get a first-hand look at the profession through the NSS Shadowing program. Shadowing experiences are designed to give students an introduction to medicine by pairing them with a health professional in a patient care setting.
Pathways to Medicine Scholars
The Health Professions Program (HPP) Pathways to Medicine Scholars program supports students from backgrounds underrepresented in medicine through mentorship and experiential opportunities to see medicine in action.
