My Interests

"Using epidemiological and bioinformatic methods to investigate the connections between etiological exposure, genetic and epigenetic modifications and diseases outcomes to better understand the underlying molecular mechanisms of disease, specifically epigenetics in cancer. The development of biomarkers at the molecular level that could be useful for diagnostic, prognostic, or treatment purposes in the future is of my interest."

Why QBS?

"I'm interested in molecular epidemiology which requires skills not just in epidemiology, but bioinformatics and biostatistics as well. The QBS program is a great match for me because the integrative course and research design of epidemiology, bioinformatics and biostatistics."
