My research interests are: Microbiomes, biomedical informatics, maternal/fetal health, immunology, genetics, and more.

Research in Progress Title or Thesis Title: The relationship of cardiometabolic measures and glucose concentrations in pregnancy with placental function, health, and molecular biology.

My career goals are: To make a positive difference in learning more about human health and applying our learnings to the public setting. I hope to bridge research and application.

I have technical expertise in : I worked as a software developer for about a year before starting the PhD program and can code fluently in R, R Shiny, Python, Java, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, C++ and more. I am also familiar with Github and Gitlab
I also have extensive knowledge with database maintenance, including SQL

I chose QBS because: I was excited about the opportunity to get a better grasp of a variety of statistical methods and was interested in the relationship QBS has with the business school and other graduate programs. I was also interested in the area and wanted to explore New Hampshire/Vermont more.

Recreational Interests: Running, playing the piano/violin/guitar, snowshoeing, graphic and logo design, watercolor, and family history research.
