My research interests are: Today Healthcare Industry has massive untapped data, which if analyzed appropriately will yield productive results pertaining to patient care standards, optimization of the workforce, and reducing costs in medical organizations. My goal is to work as a Data Scientist on medicine data and to explore the possibilities of predicting medicine behavior and analyzing human diseases. The pandemic which we are facing right now has increased the opportunities for data scientists to use advanced statistical methods.
Career track: Both Industry and Academia
My career goals are: My priority and preference would be to work on Health Data Science research projects at Dartmouth Geisel Medical School as the department is the best in the country and it will be an honor for me to be on the research team. However, I would also like to look out for jobs that aim at developmental work in health data science. My objective is to work on niche projects where I can bring my technical skills to the table.
I chose QBS because: On the technology front, a major change is happening with the use of Big Data and Analytics which is slowly replacing or minimizing human interaction. The program - MS in Health Data Science is an excellent master’s program merging the needs of the healthcare Industry and Data Science application. While we have adapted to the ‘new normal’ of Covid19 Pandemic restrictions, I feel proud for choosing Data Science and Analytics as my field of study to quench my technical thirst and in the anticipation of being able to contribute to this fast-advancing field.
Recreational Interests: I love to play drums and have a passion for Music. Apart from that, I love swimming and cycling.
