Rush University, Rosalind Franklin University and Southern Illinois University Present Mid-Career Faculty Development Bootcamp – February 06 – 08, 2024

We are pleased to share an outstanding opportunity for mid-career faculty in academic medicine at your institution for their professional development. In a collaboration between Rush Offices of Faculty Affairs and Mentoring Programs, Rosalind Franklin University, and Southern Illinois University, we are offering an outstanding opportunity for associate/full professors and leaders to propel their professional growth. Our innovative, continuing education-eligible course addresses crucial leadership and professional challenges for faculty in different stages of their careers. The bootcamp is considered a CME-acceptable use of time (9 credits) and the topics include:

  • Tools and tactics for leadership
  • Strategies for promotion
  • Scholarship in academic settings
  • Establishing effective mentoring relationships
  • Navigating conflict resolution and difficult conversations
  • Maintaining resilience and work-life balance strategies
  • Career advancement through prioritization and time efficiency
