In a collaboration between Rush Offices of Faculty Affairs and Mentoring Programs, Rosalind Franklin University, and Southern Illinois University, we are offering an outstanding opportunity for associate/full professors and leaders to propel their professional growth. Our innovative, continuing education-eligible course addresses crucial leadership and professional challenges for faculty in different stages of their careers. The bootcamp is considered a CME-acceptable use of time (9 credits) and the topics include:
- Tools and tactics for leadership
- Strategies for promotion
- Scholarship in academic settings
- Establishing effective mentoring relationships
- Navigating conflict resolution and difficult conversations
- Maintaining resilience and work-life balance strategies
- Career advancement through prioritization and time efficiency
