No matter how you try to avoid it, conflict in the workplace is inevitable, and in emotionally charged times it can escalate quickly. When differing ideas, perceptions, and priorities lead to conflict with others, how you respond can affect whether the experience is ultimately positive or negative. Join us for the Transforming Conflict into Collaboration Virtual Workshop and discover practical strategies for making difficult conversations more productive and for creating a respectful environment to resolve conflict.

Previous offerings have all sold out in less than two weeks, and workshops are limited to 40 participants to provide an intimate and interactive experience for our attendees.
What to Expect
Back by popular demand, this workshop is a highly interactive experience, delivered in two 105-minute sessions, where you’ll explore new ways to manage conflict more effectively. In the days leading up to the program, you’ll complete the Conflict Dynamics Profile assessment where you’ll learn more about how you respond to conflict and identify personal triggers which can prompt it to escalate. Then, throughout the workshop, apply the knowledge you’ve gained from your assessment during experiential exercises focused on real-life challenges and insightful discussions with your peers in academic medicine.
Who Should Attend?
This introductory workshop is ideal for any faculty or staff who has not had formal training in conflict management or who is interested in brushing up on their skills.
Registration & Fees
The registration fee is $375, and it covers registration for this two-part virtual workshop as well as the Conflict Dynamics Profile assessment which will provide personal insights regarding your approach to conflict. The registration fee does not include the optional CME fee of $50.
