Aishwarya, born in a small town of West Bengal, India completed her PhD from Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education and Research (IPGME&R), University of Calcutta, India. Her research was focused on immunology of intracellular parasitic disease initially and later on pediatric leukemia. She has been involved in translational research throughout before she moved to the United States and joined Jakubzick lab at Dartmouth in 2024.
Aishwarya’s primary research project is to elucidate the role of natural antibodies (NAbs) in damage associated molecular pattern (DAMP) mediated immune activation against Neoantigens and Cancer. The project further aims to delineate the contribution of innate B1 cells and NAbs in licensing antigen presenting cells (APCs) and cancer immunoediting.
Apart from research, Aishwarya loves to travel, explore new places, cooking, singing and spending quality time with family and friends.
