Dr. Rebecca Yukica graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001. She completed her pediatric residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where she stayed on an extra year as Chief Resident. She then moved to Baltimore where she worked as a Pediatric Hospitalist at Johns Hopkins Medical Center. While in Blatimore, she had twin boys and after 2 1/2 years, returned to the Upper Valley to raise her children.

She joined Upper Valley Pediatrics in 2007 while continuing to work part-time as a Pediatric Hospitalist at DHMC. In 2013, she and her husband had the crazy idea to follow a dream and moved to Washington state to experience the Pacific Northwest. While this was quite an adventure and Dr. Yukica greatly enjoyed her year working at Skagit Pediatrics, it became clear that her heart was with her Upper Valley patients and that no place other than Vermont would ever feel like home. In 2014, the Yukica family was thrilled to return to their Thetford community.

Dr. Rebecca is currently working at Upper Valley Pediatrics and plans to never leave again. She has also returned to DHMC as a Pediatric Hospitalist and has added Dartmouth College’s infirmary, Dick’s House, to her per diem schedule. Dr. Rebecca is also Board Certified in Pediatrics and holds medical licenses in VT. and NH.
