Min Young-Kim

Min-Young Kim, MPH, is a PhD student at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice. Min’s research focuses on examining the impact of hospital closures on cancer care access and outcomes, and how hospital closures relate to health disparities particularly for vulnerable populations. She hopes her research can inform state and federal hospital policy. Before joining TDI, Min was a Health Researcher at Mathematica focusing on implementation and evaluation of Medicare alternative payment models and Medicaid long-term services and supports. Min received an MPH from the Yale School of Public Health, during when she interned at the White House Office of Management and Budget in Washington, DC. She earned a BA in Health & Societies from the University of Pennsylvania. In her free time, Min enjoys playing golf, tennis, and exploring new restaurants.
