Research Project Director

Maia Crawford joined TDI in 2019 as a research project manager and has supported the execution of research projects related to U.S. health system performance, low-value care, rural health disparities, and accountable care organizations. Maia currently oversees research administration processes for an NIA-funded project on the causes and consequences of healthcare inequity in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Previously, Maia worked for the Center for Health Care Strategies, providing technical assistance to state Medicaid programs on payment and delivery system reform, chronic disease prevention, and Medicaid-public health collaboration. Maia received a master of science degree in health policy and management from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.
