Just as we were starting to feel sad about all the awesome people graduating from our lab, a new awesome person joins!! Welcome!

Congrats to Sarah Lamson ’24 for earning High Honors on her senior thesis. Sarah was also awarded the Christopher G. Reed Biologist Award in recognition of her “distinguished biological research career.” Sarah will be greatly missed. We’re excited to see what her future holds!

Congrats Dr. Delgado! A fantastic thesis defense from an inaugural member of the Shoemaker lab. We couldn’t be more proud!

All the more impressive given that her PI *cough cough* pulled the plug on her first project just weeks before the deadline! She devised an entirely new project and wrote a (killer) proposal all under a month!
