Ashley Ladd, BS

Research Coordinator

I graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2008 with a BS in Bioscience and technology. Shortly after graduation I began to work for a biotechnology company in Salt Lake City called BioFire Diagnostics. I joined their biodefense team, where I helped develop and optimize their RT-PCR machines, sample prep, and assay development for influenza, bacillus anthracis, and streptococcus. From 2010-2012, I worked for Dr. Norman Letvin at Beth Deaconess Hospital in his AIDS vaccine research laboratory. Before coming to DHMC I made a transition out of the laboratory taking a job at Dana Farber for Dr. Ruth Ruprect, as a research coordinator for her HIV vaccine laboratory. I have returned to the great state of NH to work for Dr. William Rigby, where I joined him in both his laboratory and clinical trials. I maintain two different research biorepository studies for his lab, one focusing on total knee replacements and the other on novel biomarkers in RA.
