Ashley Burns, M.S.

Research Assistant

I graduated from Anna Maria College in Paxton, MA with a B.A. in health science. Upon completion of my degree I began to work as a sequencing technician at Sequegen in Worcester, MA, while also working as a personal care assistant. After several years at Sequegen I returned to school and obtained my M.S. degree in Microbiology with a focus in Molecular Biotechnology at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where I worked on the cross-species characterization of antibodies targeting a regulator of activin signaling in the context of diabetes. I recently moved to New Hampshire to work for Dr. William Rigby. I work with Dr. Rigby in both his microbiology and immunology laboratory as well as his rheumatoid arthritis clinical trials.
