I am a prospective sociology major and global health minor from Vacaville, California. I have always been interested in research and the scientific field which is why I became interested in WISP. Through this internship, I have learned and witnessed first-hand what the research process can look like, the different components of conducting research, the importance of community outreach, and the different environmental factors that may impact one’s health.
