Dr. Davis' research intersects epidemiology, health informatics, and population health. He is motivated by questions related to health and healthcare and he uses rigorous methods to study important policy-relevant issues. Dr. Davis' work has been published in leading journals including Environmental Health Perspectives, Journal of Exposure Science and Environmental Epidemiology, PLoS ONE, JAMA Internal Medicine, and Preventive Medicine. Feature articles about his research have also appeared in NPR's Marketplace, USA Today, The Huffington Post, and The Atlantic. A specific interest of Dr. Davis is the application of health informatics techniques to healthcare claims data. Dr. Davis received his Masters in Public Health from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and his PhD in quantitative biomedical sciences from Dartmouth College.
