Ph.D. Rotations
Students interested in rotating in the Christensen lab are encouraged to contact Brock to discuss ongoing work and potential rotation projects.
Our group has several active projects, examples include:
- Immune epigenetic biomarkers of cancer outcomes: using cell-type-specific DNA methylation for immunophenotyping
- Noninvasive molecular assessment of breast health: DNA methylation profiling in normal breast tissue and breast milk to investigate the underlying biology of breast cancer risk factors
- DNA methylation in breast carcinogenesis and pre-invasive breast cancer
- Genetic variation in miRNA binding sites: relation with bladder cancer recurrence and survival, and head and neck cancer risk and prognosis
