Parenting Resources in Medical Education (PRIME)
We are a community of students at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth dedicated to increasing the visibility and support for students experiencing parenthood during medical training. We recognize that becoming a parent is a uniquely challenging and rewarding experience and the importance of building a community to support our students who are parents or planning to become parents. We advocate for sustaining work-life balance during academic pursuits and finding ways to make the most of each family’s experience living in the Upper Valley. We provide information on local resources for families, child-friendly events around campus and the Upper Valley, and advocate for student parents within our school.
