We study the mechanisms of meiotic and mitotic cell cycle regulation leading up to chromosome segregation and gamete formation. Errors in meiosis can have devastating consequences, causing miscarriage, infertility and trisomy conditions. Errors in mitotic cell cycle regulation can result in cancer.
