Cherish Zhao

Cherish is a ‘28 at Bowdoin College from Myanmar, interested in double majoring in Engineering (or Computer Science) and Neuroscience with a minor in Anthropology on the pre-MD/PhD track. She plans to explore the extent to which we can utilize AI in medicine (i.e. in the future she hopes to use AI to create ‘smart’ cells to reverse engineer epigenetic modifications to prevent disease progression). Cherish also loves playing the piano, writing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, rock climbing, and is excited to learn how to surf at Bowdoin!
