Dr. Anna Langener, PhD

Dr. Anna Langener is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Biomedical Data Science at Dartmouth. She received her PhD from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, under the supervision of Dr. Laura Bringmann, Dr. Gert Stulp, and Prof. Martien Kas. She is currently working with Dr. Jacobson on developing deep learning models to predict symptom changes in individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia. Anna's research interests extend to improving the use of passive data, such as data from smartphones and wearable devices, in research. Her focus includes improving transparency, for example, by developing tools (e.g. a preregistration template) and validating the use of passive data in mental health research.
