Chae Lee

Chae Lee is a first year undergrad student who studies quantitative social science and economics on a pre-med track. Given her background as an immigrant from South Korea who moved to a predominantly white school in Minnesota, Chae has been a passionate activist and a leader, having professional experiences in politics and economics. She is interested in the interconnection of politics, economics, and medicine and thus pursuing a career in healthcare economics/policy or biotechnology/bioinformatics. At Dartmouth, she is developing a wide range of professional skills through programs such as an editor of the Dartmouth Law Journal, a member of the Dartmouth Investment and Philanthropy Program (DIPP), a selective participant of the VCIC program, and TuckLAB program. She also works to create a more supportive pre-health community at Dartmouth as a member of the NSS Executive Committee. As a member of the Jacobson lab, she hopes to gain a deeper understanding of the healthcare industry and contribute to creating an equitable healthcare system for everyone.
