COBRE Center for Implementation Science

Dr. Gloria Guevara Alvarez comes to the Dartmouth Center for Implementation Science with extensive experience working in public health, clinical settings, and across the translational research spectrum.  Her previous research has focused on the role of diet and nutrition in disease prevention with a focus on vulnerable populations in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Her work has helped to establish a systematic approach to adaptation based on the CFIR framework and other implementation science methodologies to adapt interventions to resource-constrained settings and to maximize health resources for future use, particularly with interventions targeting heath and nutrition in LMICs and among vulnerable populations.
