Class Day 2021 Updates

Please see below for the details we have confirmed regarding the upcoming Awards and Class Day ceremonies.

Tuesday, May 25, 2021 – 6:00 pm

Awards Ceremony
Location:  On the lawn between Life Science Center, Remsen and Anonymous Hall (RAIN OR SHINE) As we track the weather if there becomes a threat of severe weather (extremely high winds, lightening, or anything life threatening) a SEVERE weather call will be made by 3:00pm on this day.  A severe weather call means our ceremony will transition to a remote format. All students, families, guests will watch the ceremony in their own area of lodging.

Per Dartmouth College Policy, family and friends will only be allowed to attend one graduation event; therefore, the in-person component of the awards ceremony will be only for students, faculty award recipients, essential faculty and staff.

We provide a Livestream of the ceremony for family & friends to view.  A link will be provided as we get closer to the date.

Those who attend this ceremony must always adhere to the social distancing guidelines and wear a mask.

Award recipients will have assigned seating.

Each graduating student may have 2 guests at our Class Day ceremony.  I am in the process of creating a process to distribute tickets to each of you electronically to provide to your guests.  As the graduate you will not need a ticket.  Ticket holders will be required to present their ticket to a staff member when they arrive at the venue.

Graduating students will have assigned seats. Seating for guests is in progress.

All graduates, guests, faculty and staff must always adhere to the social distancing guidelines and wear masks. Geisel masks will be mailed to you within the next couple of days.

Regalia:  I received an email this morning from our vendor letting me know all remaining regalia orders were mailed Saturday via 2-Day UPS.  If you do not have your regalia by Wednesday evening, please email me ASAP/
