Dr. Lisa V. Adams MED '90, Center for Health Equity Director, joined Dartmouth President Philip J. Hanlon ’77 for a special alumni event at Harvard’s Peabody Museum where she presented “Global Partnerships: building partnership in an era of anti-globalism”. Dr. Adams drew upon on her extensive experience in global health education and practice to discuss the current challenges and opportunities associated with building global academic partnerships in today’s world. Also attending were the other university presidents from the Matariki Network, an international consortium of seven leading like-minded universities, based in seven different countries around the world.
Named after the Māori word for the Pleiades 7-star cluster, the Matariki Network was formed to create mutually beneficial linkages in the areas of research, teaching, engagement, and administration.
