The nomination letter should come from your research advisor/mentor, and it should address the following points: (a) The name of your current academic program and your numerical year of training; (b) Provide the name, dates, location, and a description of the conference; (c) Describe what you will be presenting at the conference (i.e. the title of your abstract or poster); (d) Indicate how long you have been working with your research advisor, and describe past, current, and future project collaborations; (e) Highlight any significant progress or achievements you have received while working under your research advisor (e.g., publications, grant awards, new software packages for the research community, conference presentations, etc.); (f) Describe how attending the conference will advance your research, training, and collaborations in specific areas

Please provide the following information: (a) the exact amount of funds you are requesting [up to $1,200]; (b) the estimated total cost to attend the conference (e.g., registration, travel, meals, poster printing costs, etc.); (c) the name and amount of any additional funding sources that will be used; and (d) include copies of award notification letter or email from additional funding sources, if applicable.
