Vector_Center_for_Health_Equity_Green_Snake-copyEstablished in 2012 and led by Dr. Lisa V. Adams M’90, Dartmouth’s Center for Health Equity brings together the medical school’s educational, clinical, research, and outreach initiatives focused on medically underserved populations. It also facilitates the formation of Dartmouth-wide interdisciplinary teams of students and faculty to address health disparities in the U.S. and abroad. The Center works closely with Dartmouth’s Center for Health Care Delivery Science, the Dickey Center for International Understanding, and the Dartmouth-Hitchcock health system, leveraging the strength of the entire Dartmouth community and its alumni network.
