The last decade has showcased a tremendous leap in melanoma treatment with the combinatorial use of immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) therapy. However, approximately only 40-50% of patients respond to this treatment. Identifying mechanisms that drive LN TRM formation could provide insight into developing better therapeutic strategies to augment TRM development and ultimately enhance tumor protection.
