Are you interested in mental health and looking for research experience?<\/strong><\/p>\n Available projects:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Mental Health in Medical Training<\/span> (secondary data analysis)<\/em><\/p>\n The NILE (Neuroscience-Inspired Learning and Education) Lab<\/a> at Geisel School of Medicine is currently seeking a research student to join our team. The project focuses on investigating mental health and well-being in medical students using existing data from a national mental health survey. As a research student, you will work closely with a team of experts to analyze a large data set to identify patterns and trends in mental health and well-being in medical students. You will also assist in conducting literature reviews and preparing presentations and manuscripts for publication. This research project aims to contribute to the understanding of the challenges medical students face during their training, such as burnout, stress, and anxiety, and to identify strategies that can be implemented to promote mental wellness and resilience. As a research assistant, you will be contributing to a cause that has the potential to positively impact the lives of many future healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n This is an unpaid training position. Prior research experience is preferred but not required. A basic understanding of statistics will be helpful, and training and support will be provided.
