Please note funding is only for students enrolled in the Geisel's MD program or Health Sciences Education MPH or MS programs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Students must be logged in with their Dartmouth credentials to access the forms.<\/strong> Once the student has applied for funding, the request will be approved\/denied. All reimbursement requests must be submitted no later than 30 days after attending the conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>MD Students: <\/strong>If you have any questions about the funding process or reimbursements, please contact <a href=\"mailto:Geisel.Student.Research@dartmouth.edu\">Medical.Student.Research@dartmouth.edu<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>MPH\/MS Health Sciences students:<\/strong> If you have any questions about the funding process or reimbursements, please contact <a href=\"mailto:Geisel.Experiential.Learning@dartmouth.edu\">Geisel.Experiential.Learning@dartmouth.edu<\/a> <strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>APPLICATION GUIDELINES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students are encouraged to seek additional funds from the following sources: their department, PI, and the conference itself BEFORE seeking funding.<\/p>\n<p>You must apply at least 30 days prior to the conference where you are presenting.<\/p>\n<p>Student presenters can receive conference funding up to the total amount of $400 for each academic year (e.g., July 2024 - June 2025). For example, if you apply and receive funding to present at a conference in September for $200, you can apply for the remaining $200 in order to present at a second conference in March.<\/p>\n<p>Given budget limitations, funding will only be available for presenting (e.g., poster presentation, oral\/podium presentation) at a conference. Conference funding is only available as a reimbursement. Students cannot request funds in advance to cover the cost of attending a conference. Students must be able to provide receipts documenting expenses.<\/p>\n<p>Students who present a single research project as partners will each be eligible for a reimbursement. For example, if 2 students are giving a presentation together, each student is eligible for up to $400 per academic year.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, we cannot provide 100% reimbursement for trips. However, we encourage you to seek additional funding through your research department, grant organizations, and the conference itself!<\/p>\n<p>Reimbursement is restricted to the following items: flight, mileage (based on government reimbursement mileage), taxis\/rideshare\/Dartmouth Coach, conference registration, hotel cost, and poster printing.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions about reimbursement, MD students should see Han Tun in the medical student research office; MPH\/MS students should see Chandlee Bryan in the Office of Experiential Learning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DELIVERABLE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sharing your Experience:\u00a0<\/strong>Students who receive conference funding must submit, with the reimbursement request, a one-paragraph reflection on the conference experience no later than 30 days after attending the conference.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/header>\n<\/div>\n<footer class=\"entry-footer\"><\/footer>\n<\/article>\n<\/section>\n<div id=\"sidebar\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Conference Funding Individual students and groups may apply for conference funding &#8211; review the funding policies located below.
