I am a 1992 graduate of what was then Dartmouth now Geisel Medical School. I have lived and practiced in the Upper Valley for 24 years. I have been a member of the Geisel Alumni Council for 20 years and am a past president. I have been a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons Healthcare Systems Committee in which we were tasked to educate our members about shifting payment models from fee for service to a value based care model.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Some of my personal interests\u00a0include spending time with my wife and daughters and our extended\u00a0families, mountain and gravel biking, motorcycling, skiing, spoiling our dogs, and attempting to understand quantum physics and how the universe began. My daughter asked after seeing my latest reading material, \u201cHow\u2019s that working for you?\u201d which is a very fair question. I have an active primary care practice and precept both Geisel students and primary care internal residents. I have a special interest in geriatrics and currently have a small amount of funding through the Geriatric Center of Excellence at Dartmouth. I have enjoyed being a facilitator for OnDoctoring for 10 years.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Some of my personal interests are being outside with my family and friends particularly hiking, cross country skiing and paddle boarding. I also especially like swimming in the crystal clear lakes of the North East Kingdom of Vermont. I try to find time for reading, gardening and puzzles, but I haven't been succeeding with that!
