Chance Simonton, MS

Chance works with Geisel students with a distinct appreciation of the complexity of the challenges they face. Chance's practice centers on providing all students an environment to openly explore what's affecting them, to freely navigate troubling feelings and experiences, and to engage in meaningful conversation towards a story that enriches their life, their agency, and their impact.

Chance brings a range of experience to this work including inpatient treatment, private practice, outpatient family therapy, and holistic inpatient and outpatient substance dependence treatment programs. This experience includes work with LGBTQ+, people of color, and indigenous populations.
