International students pay an International Services Fee of $112 per term. This fee helps offset costs generated by the visa sponsorship process and the support services offered to international students.

Academic year

The academic year starts in the Summer term and aligns with the Dartmouth quarter system calendar. The Master of Science program runs from the Summer of the first year through the Spring or Summer of the second year.

Full time status and residency requirement

Students must take at least 3 units to be considered full time.

Students must be on campus for all coursework unless otherwise arranged.

Health insurance waiver

Students who have their own health or insurance plan may apply to waive the automatic enrollment into the Dartmouth Student Group Health Plan. See waiver information on the Dartmouth College Health Service page.
