The only exception is the Outlook appwhich requires direct login.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open any <strong>Microsoft App for iPad <\/strong>(Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive).<\/li>\n<li>On the Get Started screen, select <strong>Sign In with Office 365<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>When prompted to sign in, enter your <strong>NetID@dartmouth.edu<\/strong>.<br \/>\n(i.e. F12345Z@dartmouth.edu)<\/li>\n<li>Touch <strong>[Next].<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>When prompted with the Blitz login, enter your <strong>NetID<\/strong> and associated <strong>password<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>[Sign In].<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Touch <strong>[Create and Edit Documents].<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The app will open.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h1><a id=\"AppInterface\"><\/a>Basic Microsoft App Interface<\/h1>\n<p>The entry page is similar for all of the Microsoft Apps. To the left are four options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>New <\/strong>\u2013 presents the user with a blank document or templates<br \/>\n<a id=\"AppsFromOneDrive\"><\/a>Using Microsoft Apps from OneDrive (from an iPad)<\/h1>\n<p><strong>To edit a file in Microsoft Apps,<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Within OneDrive on the iPad, select the file to open\/edit.<\/li>\n<li>A prompt will appear which indicates \u201c<em>You can edit the file by tapping the Office app icon.\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<li>The document should open in the appropriate iPad app once you click the prompt.<br \/>\n<strong>Note:<\/strong> Depending on the version of Office in which the original document was created, there may be a few prompts to convert the file before editing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h1><a id=\"AppToOneDrive\"><\/a>Save Files Created with Microsoft Apps on the iPad to OneDrive<\/h1>\n<p>Files created on the iPad using Microsoft Apps can either reside on the iPad or be sent to OneDrive.
