{"id":3745,"date":"2022-11-30T16:53:25","date_gmt":"2022-11-30T21:53:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/geiselmed.dartmouth.edu\/ofa\/?p=3745"},"modified":"2022-11-30T16:55:22","modified_gmt":"2022-11-30T21:55:22","slug":"medical-education-research-presentations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/geiselmed.dartmouth.edu\/ofa\/2022\/11\/30\/medical-education-research-presentations\/","title":{"rendered":"Medical Education Research Presentations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;font-family: Palatino\">Dear Faculty,<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;font-family: Palatino\">The Department of Medical Education would like to make you aware of two upcoming online presentations next week that we thought many of you might be interested in (flyers attached).\u00a0 The first, on Monday, December 5<sup>th<\/sup> at 5:30pm is a medical research session called \u201cThe Social\u201d that will be an opportunity to connect with education researchers from Geisel, Georgetown and George Washington Universities about developing research questions in health professions education.\u00a0 One of the panelists will be our own, Dr. Abigail Konopasky.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;font-family: Palatino\">The second on Tuesday, December 6<sup>th<\/sup> at 12:15pm is a faculty development seminar sponsored by our department, where Dr. Konopasky will lead us in a mini-workshop titled, \u201cOvercoming Barriers to Publishing: Strategies for Writing and Navigating the Peer-Review Process.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;font-family: Palatino\">We are excited to share these upcoming informational discussions with you and hope you can join us.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;font-family: Palatino\">We look forward to seeing you!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;font-family: Palatino\">Kerry E.
