The Office of Faculty Affairs provide s a platform to make mentor-mentee matching across faculty a more streamlined process. It will allow faculty to tailor their mentoring request to a specific area of expertise or development, or to a broader milestone. Mentoring is often a relationship that spans multiple years.<\/p>\n
\nThe Office of Faculty Affairs provides coaches from International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited training programs. Coaches will assist faculty members to overcome challenges in their professional life. Through a series of thoughtful interactions, coaches will work with clients to identify goals, create plans to achieve them, and act as an accountability partner. Coaches can assist with career advising, strategic planning, leadership development, and time management. The Geisel coaches do not provide remedial coaching or performance improvement coaching at the direction of a supervisor. Coaching relationships are issue-specific and shorter term.<\/p>\n
\nFaculty Affairs has an online platform to facilitate algorithmic matching for both mentoring and coaching.
