Development Resources<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Faculty Affairs is pleased to selectively support faculty participation in the following <a href=\"https:\/\/geiselmed.dartmouth.edu\/ofa\/external-development-opportunities\/\">External Faculty Development Opportunities<\/a>.<br \/>\nWe will also selectively match departmental or unit funding from the <a href=\"https:\/\/geiselmed.dartmouth.edu\/ofa\/geisel-professional-development-fund\/\">Geisel Development Fund<\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The selection process for faculty will be conducted by the Faculty Affairs Advisory Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Faculty must meet the following criteria for sponsorship eligibility:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Have a Geisel faculty appointment (full-time, 1.0 FTE)<\/li>\n<li>Appointed at Geisel for at least six months.<\/li>\n<li>Must be submitted at least 30 days in advance of program application.<\/li>\n<li>The department chair must approve and sign the form.<\/li>\n<li>Submission of the form does not result in automatic approval.\u00a0 It must be reviewed by the Office of Faculty Affairs.<\/li>\n<li>Faculty receiving funding will be supported once per three-year cycle, per department.<\/li>\n<li>Approval of travel support and amount provided is dependent on availability of funds.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Interested Geisel faculty should complete the <a
