The Charles H. Hood Foundation is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the Child Health Research Awards for the funding period beginning January 2026.
As the Foundation’s premier program, the Child Health Research Awards support innovative and high-impact pediatric research in the New England area. Twice a year, we fund promising projects in the critical phases of child health development—projects that may carry higher risk but hold the potential for groundbreaking advances in pediatric health.
By supporting the best and brightest early-career investigators, the Hood Foundation fills funding gaps, accelerates innovative discoveries, and positions awardees to become future leaders in their fields. Many of our awardees go on to secure additional funding and make lasting contributions to pediatric health.
