Register today to attend the Maternal Health Equity Workshop: From Story to Data to Action, a virtual event hosted by the AAMC Center for Health Justice on Thursday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET.

Add your voice to the collaborative discussions that will help bring together clinical care, research, public and population health, and technology professionals to explore natural language processing (NLP) for improving qualitative maternal health equity data.

Attendees will hear from experts such as Maria Antoniak, PhD, Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence, a researcher in natural language processing and cultural analytics, with a focus on online communities, health care, and narratives.

This year's workshop will explore NLP and its potential for gathering qualitative maternal health data, followed by a discussion, "A Socially Conscious Approach to NLP: Addressing Bias and Racism," led by Ruha Benjamin, PhD, professor of African American studies at Princeton University, and founding director of the Ida B. Wells Just Data Lab.
