\nJosh was invited to participate in the Molecular Mycology (MOMY) course in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.\u00a0 His lecture was entitled: \u201cResponding to the threat of Aspergillus fumigatus<\/em>: The Roles of IL-1\u03b1 and Interferons in Maintaining Host Resistance.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nOur first paper from the Obar and Olive lab collaboration entitled \u201cTGF\u03b2 primes alveolar-like macrophages to induce type I IFN following TLR2 activation<\/a>\u201d is posted as a pre-print.<\/p>\n

\nAlex Rapp, a\u00a0MCB<\/a>\u00a0graduate student, successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis entitled: \u201cThe Impact of Polymycovirus 1 on Aspergillus fumigatus <\/em>pathogenesis during Lung Infection.\u201d He has accepted a Senior Scientist position at within the Dartmouth CF Cluster. \"Lab<\/a><\/p>\n
