{"id":890,"date":"2021-11-17T14:49:00","date_gmt":"2021-11-17T19:49:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/geiselmed.dartmouth.edu\/nhinbre\/?page_id=890"},"modified":"2024-02-23T09:35:53","modified_gmt":"2024-02-23T14:35:53","slug":"student-career-planning","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/geiselmed.dartmouth.edu\/nhinbre\/inbre-101-resources\/student-career-planning\/","title":{"rendered":"Student Career Planning"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"threecol-two\">\n<p>The NH-INBRE Alumni Advisory Board was created to support the NH-INBRE goal of workforce development.<\/p>\n<p>Drawing on its base of over 1200 NH-INBRE alumni, the Advisory Board recruits mentors to the NH-INBRE Alumni Network to provide a diverse, deep career, and professional development resource to current NH-INBRE students and NH-INBRE alumni.<\/p>\n<p>The mission of the NH-INBRE Alumni Network is to provide mentoring services to NH-INBRE students to help them learn:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The range of biomed career opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Interviewing, r\u00e9sum\u00e9 preparation, networking, and other professional development skills<\/li>\n<li>To use LinkedIn and other networking tools and applications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Advisory Board strongly encourages all NH-INBRE students, regardless of school year, to sign up for a mentor. To find a mentor, click on <a href=\"https:\/\/geiselmed.dartmouth.edu\/nhinbre\/mentoring-with-nh-inbre-alumni\/\">Mentoring with IN-INBRE Alumni<\/a> and follow the instructions there.<\/p>\n<p>NH-INBRE alumni can also take advantage of this resource in their career planning and professional development<\/p>\n<p>The links below contain useful information to help support your work with your mentor. Haley graduated from Keene State College in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
